With immediate effect, bnt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH Germany operates under a new name and appears as Maxfeld.legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. The step is more than a change of name. It makes visible what has grown over many years: an independent Nuremberg law firm with a clear focus on commercial law, both nationally and internationally.
The roots go back a long way. As bnt attorneys in CEE, a network of 13 offices in Central and Eastern Europe with today more than 200 lawyers emerged over the past 22 years, built together with colleagues on the ground and most recently strengthened by the combination with the Polish firm BSJP. Since 23 February, these offices have been operating under the name LYNX.
The Nuremberg office has changed noticeably during this time. What began with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe has become a globally oriented advisory practice. International clients are supported with their market entry and their activities in Germany, and German companies with outbound projects worldwide. Many clients who were initially advised on international projects now also entrust the firm with demanding matters within Germany. For the team, this is a welcome affirmation of long-standing cooperation.
With Maxfeld.legal, this orientation is now also reflected in the name. The firm has been rooted in Nuremberg for more than two decades, with a view of the historic Maxfeld district. The guiding principle bridging. business. legal. stands for the ambition to combine legal precision with commercial understanding and to shape solutions that are sound both legally and commercially, locally and internationally.
The international network remains in place. The firm continues to rely on long-established relationships with partner law firms and advisers in the relevant markets. For matters in Central and Eastern Europe, the well-practised cooperation with the former colleagues continues.
For clients, nothing changes in substance. Contacts, services, working methods and standards remain the same. Existing agreements continue to apply unchanged.
