We are pleased to inform you that, with effect from 23 February 2026, our law firm will be operating under a new name.
bnt Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH will in future operate as Maxfeld.legal Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH.
With this new brand identity, we are making visible what has developed over recent years: our positioning as an independent law firm based in Nuremberg and our clear focus on business law, both nationally and internationally.
As bnt attorneys in CEE, we have together with our local colleagues established and developed 13 additional offices in Central and Eastern Europe over the past 22 years, now comprising more than 200 lawyers. As of 23 February 2026, these offices will operate under the name LYNX.
Our Nuremberg office has become more international in recent years. What began with a focus on Central and Eastern Europe has evolved into a globally oriented advisory practice.
Today, we advise international clients on market entry and activities in Germany, as well as German companies on outbound projects worldwide.
At the same time, many clients whom we initially advised on international matters have also placed their trust in us for complex legal issues within Germany. We regard this development as a particularly gratifying confirmation of close and long-term client relationships.
With Maxfeld.legal, we are now reflecting this evolved positioning in our name as well.
Our firm has been rooted in Nuremberg for more than two decades, with a view of the historic Maxfeld district.

We build on long-standing personal relationships with partner law firms and advisers in key markets worldwide. In matters relating to Central and Eastern Europe, we will of course continue our close and well-established cooperation with our long-standing colleagues.
For you, this means in practical terms: your contacts remain the same, as do our services, our way of working and our standards. All agreements between you and us remain unaffected by the change of name and will continue unchanged.
