Dmitry Novitsky is a Ukrainian lawyer, admitted as an Advokat in Ukraine since 2018 (Bar Council of the Dnipropetrovsk Region, listed in the Unified Register of Advocates of Ukraine). As a partner of the commercial law firm Borysenko & Partners in Dnipro he continues to look after Ukrainian clients, mainly on real estate and construction projects, agricultural law, corporate law and M&A transactions.
At Maxfeld.legal he supports the firm's teams on matters with a Ukrainian dimension, from corporate questions to real estate and agricultural topics, and keeps the line open to Ukrainian authorities, registers and law firms. He is not admitted to practise as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany and is not a member of a German bar association; he does not advise clients independently but works exclusively under the responsibility of Maxfeld.legal's admitted lawyers.
Before studying law he read economics with a focus on accounting and auditing; as a certified appraiser of real estate and movable property he combines the legal with the commercial perspective. He has been a member of the Ukrainian Bar Association since 2015 and has taught at his firm's Legal School since 2019.
After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022 he came to Nuremberg and has been part of the team ever since, first at bnt attorneys in CEE and today at Maxfeld.legal.
